Fake Page was created for the sake of in-house creation and testing of
vBulletin and [FUCK]why[/FUCK]
vbWiki Pro Modifications without compromising the integrity of other live articles. Some examples include administrators using Fake Page to try new markup in development, taking screenshots to post on
vBulletin.org, etc.
[vault]CES Navbits Designer[/vault] was the first in-house modification to be tested on Fake Page. When the [vault]web site[/vault] switched from vbWiki Pro to
NuWiki, Fake Page was used less frequently, because many developers had forgotten of its existence. In summer [vault]2007[/vault], when development on [vault]CES VaultWiki[/vault] began, Fake Page was rediscovered and the "Sandbox" section was created, to test every aspect of the new BB-Code parser.

[noparse] tags no longer seem to be excluded from the Quick Edit field.
